For centuries people have brought their prayer intentions to Mt. Carmel in Holy Land. Now the Carmelite Sisters invite you to Mt. Carmel in the Desert Retreat Center to experience the silence and solitude of the Mojave Desert, and to spend time in prayer and listening to God.

Our chartered buses leave from various locations (see each individual pilgrimage flyer) including from St. Joseph Campus, 507 N. Granada Ave, Alhambra, at 7:30 a.m. and returns to St. Joseph Campus by 6:30 p.m. The cost is $55.00 and includes bus, continental breakfast, lunch, and a day at Mt. Carmel in the Desert Retreat Center. A Carmelite Sister accompanies you on your bus from St. Joseph Campus in Alhambra. We begin our pilgrimage as we board the bus, praying together and enjoying a quality spiritual DVD. For groups of 35 or more, we will send a chartered bus to pick up and return your group to the site of your choice!

Pray at the natural grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, experience the hill of the cross, pray the Stations of the Cross in a spirit of repentance, intercession & healing, Holy Mass, attend spiritual conferences, have personal and reflective time, and visit the religious gift shop.
