A Pilgrimage of Prayer and Intercession

For centuries people have brought their prayer intentions to Mt. Carmel in Israel. Now the Carmelite Sisters invite you to Mt. Carmel in the Desert to experience the austerity, silence and solitude of the Mojave Desert where God has been discovered by those who make the journey. The Carmelite Sisters extend an invitation to your Parish group to make a pilgrimage to Mt. Carmel in the Desert Retreat Center. We provide a comfortable coach that will bring you from your parish to our Retreat Center. (40 minimum Ð 50 maximum people).

The schedule of the day will include:

A prayerful journey. Videos may be provided aboard the coach to prepare you for the solitude of your encounter with God during your pilgrimage.
Confessions and Holy Mass if a priest is available.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament gives you quiet time to pour out your heart to God and experience His healing love.
Make the Stations of the Cross in the solitude of the Desert.
Pray the rosary at the natural rock grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Walk in the quiet and peace of our 240-acres as you reflect and pray.
Continental breakfast and lunch are prepared and served by the Carmelite Sisters.
A gift shop is available during your stay.
