Memories
2007-2008 School ends June 27th

One of the special memories is the family spirit that we experienced at our Music Festival this last April. This event is for both our Retreat Center and our Child Care Center. We hope that when you leave our school you will return for this event to maintain the family spirit. Our alumni will always be part of our school! Hope to see you every year, if not sooner. We will keep in touch through either mailings or e-mails. We would like to extend our gratitude to each of you who entrusted your children to our care this past year. It was a joy to serve you and your children and it has been a very exciting year of growth and learning. For all our students who are leaving us... we pray that you will always keep Jesus in your hearts and continue to nurture love for learning.

Open House/Family Picnic

Thank you for making this such a memorable event. It was such a refreshing day and everyone seemed so happy, enjoying each other. Many of you enjoyed kite flying and the water play activities was a ’hit.’ We’re so glad you had time to mingle and share as families. These memories will be treasured by your children and all of us. We would like to extend our gratitude to our wonderful staff for the wonderful preparation of our Open House display and the children's’ performance. God bless you>

Kindergarten Graduation

Our eight Kindergarteners will receive their diplomas on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00 am. This is always a beautiful event. During holy Mass the Kindergarteners take care of the Scripture readings and sing praise songs. It makes Mass so special for them and their families. The priest will present their diplomas before the blessing. We hope that some of you will come and join us give thanks to God for this momentous day. We consider the beginning of our students’ education as important as their last graduation in life.

Summer School

June 30th thru August 15th
No registration required.

For those attending our Summer Program we promise an invigorating fun-filled program, which offers special community helper visits. Dora & Diego will continue to bring new concepts in our Spanish Program. We would love for our Kindergarten graduates to come and become enriched through the Summer!

School Supplies

Deadline: Friday, August 22nd
Supplies are to be brought in a large bag labeled with your child’s name.

Re-Registration deadline May 31st

If you haven’t returned the re-reg. package to the office, please do so as soon as possible. Our office needs to know the number of students who will attend this Summer to provide the staffing needed.
Tuition contracts and fees are necessary to secured a place for students attending next year.

Religion:
Jesus, the Good Shepherd is the model for all fathers. We will study Psalm 23, the Good Shepherd Psalm.

Science:
Frogs/turtles

Social studies:
We will review all community helpers.

Health/Safety:
Summer rules will be introduced...water safety, unsafe plants and animals in the desert.

Kindergarten:

Math:
Intro to addition

Phonics:
Consonant/vowel blending.
Report cards will be issued before the end of this month.
We are preparing for Graduation Day!

Junior Kinder:
Re-testing

Kinder Test results will be sent home soon.

Prekinder & Preschool:
