Have you discovered our Mt. Carmel one-day prayer pilgrimages known as the “Mount Carmel Turn-Around”?  The “Mount Carmel Turn-Around” consists of one day spent in the desert surrounded by the unique beauty, peace, and serenity that only the desert can provide.  The pilgrims travel 85 miles northeast of Los Angeles arriving at the Retreat Center located in the midst of 240 acres of beautiful desert.   Far away from the commotion and noise of every-day city life one can be recollected in God's presence.

The pilgrimages are led by priests and Carmelite Sisters who endeavor to provide a schedule and environment conducive to prayer.  Our mission and desire "to promote a deeper spiritual life among God's people" joyfully brings us to pray for our pilgrims on this spiritual journey to encountering God.
