From Los Angeles: Take the 5 Freeway North to the 14 freeway Palmdale/Lancaster. Exit at Pearblossom Hwy (138). At this exit, do not take the Angeles Crest Hwy. turn but the Pearblossom/Victorville/Littlerock ramp. Continue on Pearblossom Hwy. for about 5 miles. When you come to the intersection at which Pearblossom (138) veers to the right and Fort Tejon goes to the left, do not turn. Keep going straight. The same street you have been traveling on will become Avenue T. Go to the end of Avenue T (about 11 miles) and turn LEFT at 165th St. As you travel on 165th, just veer to the right and you will be on 170th. Stay on 170th until you reach Palmdale Blvd. Turn RIGHT on Palmdale Blvd. Go for 1 mile. Watch very carefully. Turn LEFT at 180th St. East. (There is NO stop sign and NO traffic signal at 180th.)Travel on 180th for about 1½ miles and look for Mt. Carmel in the Desert at 39501 180th (on your left). Turn into the driveway and go all the way to the 2nd building. The 1st building is not the Retreat Center.

From Victorville: Take Palmdale Road (18) to Hwy 138 (Pearblossom). Continue on 138 until you reach 165th Street East. Turn RIGHT on 165th (there is a traffic signal). As you travel on 165th, after about a mile or two, the road will veer to the right and you will be on 170th. Stay on 170th until you reach Palmdale Blvd. Turn RIGHT on Palmdale Blvd. Go for 1 mile. Watch very carefully. Turn LEFT at 180th St. East. (There is NO stop sign and NO traffic signal at 180th.) Travel on 180th for about 1½ miles and look for Mt. Carmel in the Desert at 39501 180th (on your left). Turn into the driveway and go all the way to the 2nd building. The 1st building is not the Retreat Center.

From San Gabriel Valley: 605 Fwy north to the 210 Fwy east to the 15 Fwy North toward Barstow. Continue on the 15 Fwy for about 14 miles and exit at Hwy 138 (Pearblossom). Turn LEFT after exiting and you will be on Hwy 138. Continue on 138 for about 25 miles. Turn RIGHT on 165th (there is a traffic signal).
